Open “My Computer”

Open “Dial-up Networking”

Open “Make New Connection”

Enter “LISCO” in the “Type a name for the computer you are dialing:” field. Then click “Next”.

Type in a LISCO dial-up access number that is local for your location.  Then click “Next”. Click here for a list of access numbers.

Click “Finish”.

Right click on “LISCO” and select “Properties” from the pop-up menu.

Go to the “Server Types” tab.

Make sure your checkboxes reflect the screen below and click “TCP/IP Settings”.

Select “Specify name server addresses”.
Type in 69.18.32.50 in the “Primary DNS” field.
Type in 69.18.32.51 in the “Secondardy DNS” field.
Make sure “Use default gateway on remote network” is checked.
No other check boxes need to be checked.
Click “Ok”.

Click “Ok”.

Right Click on “LISCO” and select “Create Shortcut”.

Click “Yes” on the error that reads “Windows cannot create a shortcut here would you the like the shortcut to be placed on the desktop instead?”.

Close “Dial-up Networking”. Then close “My Computer”.

Go to the desktop and click on “Start”.

Go to “Settings” and open “Control Panel”.

Open “Network”.

Select “TCP/IP” and then click “Properties”.

Select the “DNS Configuration” tab.
Click in the “Enable DNS” radial button.
Type your LISCO username in the “Host” field in all lower-case letters.
DO NOT INCLUDE ‘@lisco.com’
DO NOT INCLUDE any spaces.
Type “lisco.com” in the “Domain” field.
Click in the “DNS Server Search Order” field and type in 69.18.32.50
Click “Add”. This will drop the numbers into the box below.
Click in the “DNS Server Search Order” field and type in 69.18.32.51
Click “Add”. This will drop the numbers into the box below again.
Click “Ok”.

Click “Ok” on the “Network” window.

It will ask you to restart the computer. Go ahead and restart.

When done restarting go to the “Desktop” and open “Shortcut to LISCO”.

Type in your LISCO username in all lower-case letters.

DO NOT include ‘@lisco.com’
DO NOT put in any spaces.

B) Type in your LISCO password in all lower-case letters.
C) Click “Connect”.
