Long Distance Included

Residential phone service in Fairfield only includes 1500 minutes of long distance per month on the main line for calls to all 50 States and Canada. For international calling charges to other areas, click below to see the rate chart. All areas outside of Fairfield can purchase economical long distance minute packages. Contact customer service for the most current rates.

Can I keep my phone numbers?

Yes. If you switch your phone service to LISCO Fiber or copper services, all your existing phone numbers can come with you at no charge for porting the numbers over to LISCO.

What phone charges are included in the monthly charge?

Monthly residential or business phone services includes a required SLC (Subscriber Line Charge – sometimes called the Federal Access Charge) and EAS (Extended Area Service).

However, additional monthly charges include Federal and State taxes and items like the USF (Universal Service Fund) or 911 charges which LISCO is required to charge. These amounts change according to Federal or State regulations. They are the same for every phone company.

Can I get more than one number?

Yes in Fairfield, Fiber customers can get a second line for only $10 more, but it will not include free long distance. Areas outside of Fairfield can get fiber telephone lines for $25/month and copper lines for $35/month.

Virtual PBX for Businesses

LISCO provides advanced digital business phone services that allow even the smallest business to interact with customers as if they had an expensive telephone switches or PBXs. Businesses can provide VoIP extension phones to remote offices anywhere that have broadband internet service. This opens up a cost effective and easy way for local businesses to expand and collaborate in the global marketplace. Or, even more simply, it allows employees the ability to work from home.
